  • Synopsis :

    Four segments  covered in this programme:

    1.   Tortoises In Temple   -   several thousand tortoises have been released into the ponds of Bright Hill Temple by worshippers as an act to gain spiritual merit. But the ponds are already overcrowded. This segment looks at the dilemma of the tortoise ponds and what can be done to address the situation.

    2.   Child's Play   -   in Singapore's master plan for the Civic and Cultural District,  the Tao Nan Primary School in Armenian Street is to become a Children's Museum. This segment finds out whether the premise is a good place for a museum.

    3.   Musicians'  Woes   -   local musicians are facing increasing competition from overseas.  Many club owners feel that foreign musicians are better. This segment looks at the local music scene and  finds out how local musicians feel about the situation and whether they are getting a raw deal.

    4.   "Sing Song"   -   looks at what Singaporeans think of the "Sing Singapore" Campaign.
