Synopsis :Recording of High Rise First Cut is not a packaged programme and has no audio. Details of footages include:
1) outside, on street - buntings decorating street; in background blocks of flats - 5 storeys; vehicles going down road; people walking on pavement; pan to another block of flats;
2) Chinese roof style archway and pillars decorated with much motifs; behind blocks of flats; archway taken from different angles and from across road; bus, vehicles passing by;
3) inside, behind archway:
a) police band getting ready, all seated down except for its conductor; standing behind them members of public, probably residents of area;
b) band starting to play; shots of band from different angles - from behind conductor; behind band, conductor is front view, pan across players; close up on conductor;
4) outside archway again, evening has descended, lights around archway turn on;
5) inside, behind archway way:
a) zoom in on crowds of people, waiting, standing around, walking, most are men in casual wear, some children;
b) raised stage, lighted up - empty, for delivering of speeches; HDB logo;
6) outside archway:
a) police man on duty, waving vehicles to move on, bus comes up move to side of road;
7) lion dance troupe:
a) prancing way with accompanying drum and cymbal, go through archway to 'go inside';
b) inside, lion continues 'prancing'; close up shots of lion at various angles;
c) man, wearing 'false head' and carrying a fan, 'dances' with lion;
d) man puts hand inside lion's mouth and is 'eaten up';
e) lion continues to 'prance';
8) close up of drum and drummer - from various angles - front view, stationery position, moving;
9) zoom in on man playing cymbal;
10) VIPs - woman and man, wearing garland:
a) walking in, followed by few officials and community leader, including Lim Kim San; move up to raised stage, sit down;
b) speech session - Lim Kim San, next 2 speakers, likely community leaders;
c) lady VIP is presented a 'ching jie';
d) her turn to give a speech; pan on people on stage behind her;
11) lady VIP cut ribbon, after her speech:
a) she moves down from stage, cus ribbon, stand there;
b) samsui woman stands next to her, then a man stands nearby;
c) Lim Kim San on own, later standing with Malay official or community leader;
12) people moving off; 2 men with cameras, seen from back, moving forward.
