Synopsis :This film traces the life of Subhas Chandra Bose, from his birth in 1897 to his supposed death in 1945, his political aspirations and career, and his bid for India's freedom from British rule in collaborating with the Germans and Japanese during WWII. It also charts the history of India's political struggle against the British masters from the time Mahatma Gandhi chose Bose as President of the Indian National Congress in 1938 to the division of the Sub-Continent in 1947. Contains footage and photographs documenting the events as well as interviews with Sisir Bose, Bose's nephew, and Indian National Army veterans such as Lakshmi Swaminathan, commander of the Rani of Jhansi Regiment of the Army, and Prem K. Sahgal, one of the three INA officers tried at the Red Fort Trials.
