  • Synopsis :

    This is a recording of the Seminar presented by the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies and India Club on Sunday 13 August 2006 at the RELC Auditorium, Singapore. The seminar present views on the INA and its contribution to Asian independence by scholars from India and Southeast Asia. Keynote speakers include Prof. Sugata Bose, Gardiner Professor of History at Harvard University (member of the Bose family) , Prasenjit K Basu, Director of Khazanah Nasional and Prof. A Mani together with Prof. P Ramasamy of ISEAS. The recording also features reminiscences by surviving INA veterans and a documentary depicting the INA at war.
