Synopsis :Amran is a poor man who labours as a trishaw rider. One day, he gets to know Azizah, daughter of a wealthy Malay, Marzuki. The pair develop feelings for each other. However their budding romance is threatened by Marzuki, who is contemptuous of the poor, and Ghazali, a bad-tempered rogue who has gained Marzuki's confidence.
