Synopsis :

Recording is a continuation of the University of Singapore Convocation 1974. The ceremony continues with the Citation and Conferment of Honorary Degree of Doctor of Letters for:
a) Affandi, artisit in Indonesia, for his 'lifelong contribution to the development and appreciation of art';
b) Professor Puey Ungphakorn, in recognition of 'his important contributions as economist, administrator and educator to the development of Thailand';
c) Woon Wah Siang, Chairman of Jurong Town Corporation, for his contribution to the major chapter in Jurong Town.
Next is the Citation and Conferment of Honorary Degree of Doctor of Medicine for Dr Khoo Fun Yong, Radiologist, Ministry of Health, in recognition of his 'pioneering spirit and dedication and to knowledge and medical education'. During the citation for the second recipient Arun, there is a break in recording. Recording continues with conferment of degrees to graduands from Doctor of Philosophy to Bachelor of Laws, but recording ends abruptly.

Recording begins again with taking of wild track shots and wide shots around campus at Kent Ridge.
