Synopsis :This is a recording at the Malaysia Forum where Minister for Foreign Affairs S. Rajaratnam fields questions.
He comments on some issues arising from Singapore's separation from Malaysia. He highlights that every political party has a right to state its own policy and this is one of the factors leading to the separation.
On the Vietnam War, he also opines that the Americans will fail, as this is a political issue between North and South Vietnam. Finally in response to another question, he says that British forces need to continue to stay in Singapore until it has build up an adequate defense.
