Synopsis :In his first broadcast after his swearing-in ceremony, Chief Minister Lim Yew Hock assures Singaporeans that he and his ministers will carry out their duties faithfully and that the stability and welfare of the nation will be of utmost priority. He also describes the direction he wishes to lead Singapore and to resolve outstanding matters as Singapore's stature in the Commonwealth Nations that his government will attempt to resolve immediately.
