Synopsis :Senior Minister (Prime Minister's Office) S Rajaratnam continues his speech at the Singapore Institute of Management's (SIM) 21st Anniversary Dinner and Dance.
Here he says the younger PAP MPs' 'be kind to the Opposition' approach is misread by the 2 Opposition MPs, that is J B Jeyaretnam and Chiam See Tong. Minister instead suggests the approach must change as Singapore enters 'its second battle for political and economic survival' and there is no place for 'inspired clowning in parliament'.
It is time for 'real politics' with political leaders committed to fight for Singapore's survival and future. Tape runs out, Minister's speech continues on next tape.
