Synopsis :This is a recording of the continuation of a forum on "A New Cultural And Recreational Environment For Singapore" which is held at the University of Singapore. The speakers are:
(a) Mr Lim Chong Keat,
(b) Mr Soh Teow Seng, Deputy Director of the People's Association,
(c) Dr Goh Poh Seng, Chairman of the National Theatre Trust.
Mr Lim gives his views on the utilisation of space and the development of community space in the city of Singapore. Mr Soh speaks about recreational facilities and the ideal community centre. Dr Goh discusses the problems involved in trying to improve the cultural environment of Singapore.
