Synopsis :The press conference is chaired by T.C. McLay, the Managing Director of the new company. He announces that Keppel Shipyard (Pte) Ltd has taken over the dockyard department of the Port of Singapore Authority (PSA). Keppel began operations on 4 September 1968. He also declares Keppel's interest in ship-building.
