Synopsis :Tape consists of 4 speeches delivered at the opening of the Conference for members of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
There were 3 introductory speeches on the background of the Conference and the schedule of events.
These 3 speakers were: the Conference Chairman Professor Gaum, from the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Singapore, the President of the Australian Orthopaedic Association, A. Dawkes and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Singapore, Professor Lim Tay Boh.
The Minister for Health, Yong Nyuk Lin, then spoke on the history and the developments of orthopaedics and health services in Singapore.
