  • Synopsis :

    Mursi Saad El-Din, who is in the region to attend the Afro-Asian conference, shares his impressions of Singapore and Malaysia after the separation. He holds out the possibility of each country having an Afro-Asian Solidarity Committee. Within Singapore itself, there are two committees, one led by Barisan Socialis leader Dr Lee Siew Choh and the other by Dr Wong Lin Ken, Department of History, University of Singapore. Mr Mursi says the ad-hoc committee will decide on the outcome of both applications.
