Synopsis :The fair was organised by the Great World Amusement Park with the support of the Shaw Organisation.
In his speech, the Minister for Labour, Jek Yeun Thong, reiterated the government's push for industrialisation, outlining the plans already implemented for an industrialised economy.
He also gave reasons why a low dependence on trade was the right move particularly in the light of Indonesia's Confrontation, the assistance rendered to workers and businessmen affected by the recent events, and opportunities for businesses.
