Synopsis :Speaking at the event, Chancellor of the University of Singapore, Mr Lee Kong Chian, stresses the need to expand the institutions of higher learning in Malaysia. This is followed by an interview with two fresh graduates one of whom was, S. Jayakumar who would eventually become the Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore. The vice-chancellor B. R. Sreenivasan also highlights the different activities run by the university and how the university has served the community.
