  • Synopsis :

This is a documentary on drug addicts in Singapore. It features the life for drug addicts during their rehabilitation period as well as life for them after they are released from the rehabilitation centre. It also features commentaries from ex-drug addicts, discussing their experience of how they became addicted to drugs, difficulties they face in getting back to their normal lives after being released from the centre as well as their opinions on drugs. The programme also discusses the various ways to help the ex-drug addicts to get back on track, such as open counseling, sharing sessions in the centre, family support as well as societal acceptance. Employers also gives their reasons on why they are reluctant to hire ex-drug addicts. In addition, the programme also highlights the trend of switching from conspicuous drugs such as heroin to pharmaceutical products that are as equally harmful, as well as provide information on how to prevent the mishandling of drugs by ex-drug addicts.
