Synopsis :

The 16mm film is not a packaged production but contains filming of several aspects of farming - Chicks, Hens, Eggs, Orchids, Fishing, Vegetables, Animals, PPD Publications, Market Scene, Fruit, Fair Of Farm Materials, Yeo Hiap Seng Canning. There is no audio. Details of the footages are as follows:
1) Chicks & Hens: chicks in wooden boxes: injecting them with syringe; man putting food in long trough in hen coops; hen held on ground by two hands; few officers giving jabs to hens held by man, men walking up carrying poultry;
2) Orchid: planting in ground in row; sealing longish box with address label on box; watering orchids in pots; orchids plants on shelves; man talking 4 men with standing among orchid plants; man picking up threebundles of cut orchids; loading on two vehicles; orchid in pot with black parts on leaves; man applying some creamy white substance to tip of orchid plant; several women looking at cut orchids and those in pots sitting on shelves; man playing hose on rows of orchids growing in ground;
3) Houses on stilts by river, with attap roofs, several boats in water, buildings with attap roofs in background, foreground - several vegetable plots;

15) Yeo Hiap Seng Canning Limited: complete process of canning curry chicken - from cutting  chickens into pieces to putting cans, with labels, in carton; forklift with 12 boxes moving into building; front view of Yeo's cannery with name board in Chinese; side view of cannery;
16) Girls in uniform eating at tables inside shed-like building, others queuing or carrying bowl of food;
17) Visit of Official: arrival official greeted by 3 men and several others ouside building; inside building official standing with few men and group of other behind;
