Synopsis :

The 16mm film is not a packaged production but contains filming of several aspects of farming -  Duck Farms, Study Tours for Farmers, Papayas, Farms. There is no audio. Details of the footages are as follows:
1) Duck Farms:
a) Ducklings in 3 baskets;
b) Trays of duck eggs, mainly white; few eggs hatched;
c) Ducks close together, moving as group (getting dark);
d) Ducks on ground, several in water, cleaning themselves;
e) Eggs spread on gunny sack on ground;
f) Man carrying out from deep basket cloth containing several eggs, spread them on ground on top of gunny sack;
2) Duck Feed
a) Feeding time: two men carrying basin of feed to the ducks, man sccoping up feed, throwing out in various directions;
b) Two men sorting out small fish on ground, tossing in basket;
c) Ducks drinking from small round container;
d) Mixing feed in big basin with changkul, brown coloured stuff mixed with green leaves, chopped up and white stuff, add water then mix again; done by women;
e) Ducks eating from ground, some hens among them;
3) For sale:
a) Fruit stall by side of road - with cut papaya, water-melon, pineapple;
b) Eggs in trays displayed for sale;
c) Man sitting on low stool with two baskets containing chicks;
4) Vegetable and Plants:
a) Low tapioca plants focusing on leaves; big leaf plants;
b) Some vegetable plots; long bean plants;
c) Row of tall plants;
5) Animals:
a) Pigs, big trays holding eggs with several chicks hatched;
6) Study Tours for Farmers:
a) Group with officers accompanying them; visit Ideal Multifeed Ltd - external view of building;
b) Group entering building of Yeo Heap Seng Canning and Sauce Factory Limited; see hens in coops, walking towards vegetable fields, cut vegetables;
c) Film Name: Study Tour 14.1.1965
d) Group inside building (interior is dark, so cannot see);
e) Ministry of National Development building - external view; group photo of tour groups;
f) Group of men looking round outside building;

10) Papaya Trees:
a) Close up of one tree full of papayas;
b) Farmer walking to tree, examing papayas, then plucks by twisting slightly with hand and put on ground, repeats process and moves on to continue plucking from other trees.
